WIX® Filters Distributes 2008 Master Catalog

WIX Filters has released their new 2008 Master Catalog, which includes more than 1,900 pages of part types listed by size and category, schematics, technical service bulletins and installation tips.

The catalog includes reference information for every oil, air, cabin air, fuel, coolant, hydraulic and specialty filter WIX manufactures. And for the first time, the WIX Filters Light Duty Application Catalog includes Canadian passenger car and light truck models as well as spin-on fuel filters with open bottoms.

“WIX has been producing master catalogs for our customers since 1964,” said Dan Moser, publications manager, WIX Filters. “Producing an informative, easy-to-use catalog is an immense undertaking; the 2008 catalog has increased in page count from 1,072 in 2000 to 1,928 in 2008 – an 80% increase – to assure we’re providing our customers with all the information they need.”
The catalog’s product section, which includes 315 new SKUs in 2008, provides the functionality customers need to locate parts by dimensions and segments WIX Filter part types by size and category, including the growing cabin air category.

“Cabin air filters have been included in our catalogs for more than 10 years,” Moser added. “The 2008 Master Catalog lists more than 121 cabin air filter SKUs and includes codes to help technicians locate the cabin air filter housings on vehicles.”

The 2008 WIX Filters Master Catalog is comprised of three catalogs:

2008 WIX Filters Application Catalog for heavy duty tucks, buses, and off-highway vehicles;
2008 WIX Filters Application Catalog for passenger cars, trucks, and vans; and,
2008 Interchange & Product Numeric

Catalog, including technical service bulletins.
