Media Center Provides a Closer Look at New Product
InnovationsWIX Filters’ technical services and customer training group has launched the WIX Filters Media Center at www.wixfilters.com, featuring brief educational videos developed to inform technicians and counterpersons about the distinctive characteristics of the company’s new products and technologies.
The WIX Filters Media Center features videos that explore innovative technologies and installation instructions for newly designed filtration products. Included in the current list of videos is a closer look at the recently released WIX 49184 air filter for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra with 6.6L Duramax diesel engines, and an explanation of the refinements to the lid design of the new 33818 fuel filter for Ford trucks and vans with 7.3L diesel engines.
“The new WIX Filters Media Center is an extension of the training materials we develop for each new product launch,” said Paul Bandoly, manager of technical services and customer training at WIX Filters, who oversees WIX Connect, the WIX Institute for Filtration Technology and the WIX Filters eLearning Center. “We plan to add new videos to the Media Center regularly – eventually making the Media Center an extensive library of WIX filtration technology overviews.”
Also available in the media center is Blueprint for Quality – a new video from WIX Filters that takes viewers to WIX facilities around the world for an in-depth look at the philosophy and processes that lead to WIX’s global manufacturing success.
“With the globalization in today’s manufacturing environment, we strive to ensure quality processes are consistent regardless of the manufacturing location,” said Keith Wilson, president of WIX Filters. “Our global success is built on the foundation of talented people, quality products, and technical innovation – those are the three keys to everything we do.”
Blueprint for Quality tells the compelling story of WIX Filters’ tradition of manufacturing quality filtration products through the words of executives, managers and employees who reflect the company’s presence in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the United States. WIX Filters’ tradition of quality and technical innovation spans 70 years and is the bedrock of the company’s leadership in the global manufacturing marketplace.
“An important part of our charter as a global brand is to educate our partners and customers about the quality of our filtration products, regardless of the location where they are manufactured,” added Jeff Blocher, brand manager for WIX Filters. “We work diligently to assure our customers that they are receiving the same quality product, whether the filter in their hand is manufactured in Gastonia, N.C., or our newest facility in Mexico.”
