Keselowski scored a 12th-place finish in tonight’s race.
UNOFFICIALLY Keselowski is sixth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings, 54 points behind fifth-place David Reutimann and 13 ahead of seventh-place Mike Bliss. Keselowski trails leader Clint Bowyer by 191 points.
Keselowski and Scott Wimmer are tied for the lead in the WIX® Filters Lap Leader standings (2-2).
KESELOWSKI QUOTES: “We wanted to win and they gave me a car today that could do it and just didn’t work out, whether it was my fault or others fault, I don’t know. I’ll have to watch some of the replays. It was a good car. I’m proud of everyone on my team and if we keep having cars like this we’ll get it done. I know we will.” WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOU SPUN OUT? “From what I could tell I just got ran over but I didn’t see the replay. It’s not really fair until I can see the replay.” ARE YOU OTHERWISE PLEASED WITH THE RUN? “Pleased with the performance disappointed with the finish. But we’re working on it. It’s hard when you’re racing a bunch of Cup drivers that get to come here and test and then practice today and we’re not even on the track. It’s really hard.”
