| Mike Bliss led once for one lap to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in today’s CARFAX 250. Bliss captured the honor for the second time this season. He has led 27 laps in four races this season.
Bliss scored a sixth-place finish in today’s race, his 12th top-10 finish of the season.
UNOFFICIALLY Bliss is fourth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings, 227 points behind third-place Brad Keselowski and four ahead of fifth-place David Reutimann.
BLISS QUOTES: “I’m happy to win the WIX award. It was really good. Our Miccosukee Chevrolet was very, very good on the long run. About lap 10 it started coming on. I really didn’t get very tight today. We freed it up a little bit but went too far. Went back on the adjustments and it was a dang good car. I think we would have had a top-five there with a couple of laps to go.
