| David Stremme led once for 12 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in tonight’s Emerson Radio 250. Stremme captured the award for the first time this season. He became the 13th different driver to win WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors this season.
Stremme scored a ninth-place finish, his 15th top-10 finish of the season.
UNOFFICIALLY Stremme is 12th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings. He is 36 points behind 11th-place Jason Keller and 134 ahead of 13th-place Steve Wallace.
STREMME QUOTES: “I’m surprised to learn I got the WIX money. That’s cool [smiles]. We just could have been better. We didn’t take tires and it bit us. But this team is good. We keep rolling, we’ll get us a win.” DID YOU TAKE TWO TIRES TO GET THE LEAD LATE IN THE RACE? “We didn’t take anything. We stayed out because we didn’t go get our other set of tires when we had that that competition yellow. We just have to work on that.”
