| WIX® Filters, through its Team WIX racing sponsorship program, is offering local race teams across the country a 20 percent rebate on WIX racing filters and WIX/No Toil ATV and motorcycle filters, free racing gear and decals, and a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes. Race teams can join Team WIX by picking up an application from their distributor or at www.wixfilters.com.
Included in the Team WIX racing sponsorship program is a chance for local race teams to win one of five expanded sponsorships, including three Grand Prize Team Sponsorships that include a $1,000 check and $250 worth of filters and WIX gear, and two Second Prize Team Sponsorships that include a Chicago Pneumatic cordless impact wrench (an estimated $400 value) and $100 worth of filters and WIX gear.
“WIX Filters are trusted by more NASCAR race teams than any other brand because of our experience at the track developing filters that help race teams achieve optimum performance in the toughest conditions,” said Jeff Blocher, brand manager for WIX Filters, who hopes to grow Team WIX racing to more than 200 local race teams in 2009. “We understand the pressure fluctuations, high temperatures and rapid breakdown of engine oil that occur during a race; we’ve designed our racing filters to overcome these challenges so drivers, whether racing on super speedways or local hometown dirt tracks, can concentrate on what matters – taking the checkered-flag.”
Once a Team WIX application has been submitted and approved, WIX will send the race team a rebate form and four WIX decals for their vehicle. Upon receipt of the rebate form and a photo of the race car, motorcycle or ATV wearing the WIX decals, WIX will send the team four Team WIX t-shirts, confirmation of the team’s enrollment in the sweepstakes and the rebate check.
