WIX Filters Earns AutoWares Customer Service Award

WIX Filters, accustomed to being under the hood and out of the spotlight while the race teams that made the brand the #1 Filter in NASCAR win championships on the professional racetrack, recently received an award from AutoWares for excellence in customer service.
“We are honored to win this award because customer service is fundamental to the success of our business,” said Bill Sheehan, vice president of sales, WIX Filters. “Developing and manufacturing the highest quality filtration products in the industry must be backed up by a service mentality that we will do everything in our power to meet customers’ needs.”
WIX received the AutoWares “Outstanding Marketing Support” award, presented annually to the AutoWares supplier that develops the best marketing programs and materials. AutoWares recognized WIX for its creative collateral materials, point-of-sale advertisements and promotional items. The award also recognized the ease with which WIX and AutoWares marketing personnel worked together to promote the WIX Filters brand. Collaborative marketing efforts between WIX and AutoWares resulted in a 6.2 percent increase in sales of WIX products at AutoWares stores in 2004.
WIX Filters District Manager Tim Marshall accepted the award during the AutoWares Annual Marketing Conference, Feb. 4-6, 2005 at the Amway Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich.
“Being recognized with this award is especially gratifying because no selection committee could possibly be more important to us than our customers,” said Sheehan.
