New industrial filtration program serves $36 billion market

WIX® Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, has launched a new industrial filtration product line consisting of more than of 8,000 part numbers for critical hydraulic and fluid power system applications found in manufacturing environments including power generation, mining, foundries, pulp/paper and more.

“WIX has delivered filtration engineering and design excellence to the vehicle market for more than 70 years,” said Jeff Blocher, brand manager for WIX Filters. “This new product line brings our filtration expertise and large distribution network to the multi-billion dollar global industrial filtration market.”

The WIX Filters industrial filter line is cataloged by a smart part number that is common in the industry. Each part number describes the type of filter, its construction family, micron rating, media type and special characteristics.
WIX’s industrial filtration program will stock the most popular part numbers at the WIX Master Distribution Center in Gastonia, N.C. The remaining part numbers are more rare in usage and available as a made-to-order (MTO) product.

WIX has developed sales materials to help customers learn about the line and find product information, including:

• Line Card Brochure – detailed technical aspects and importance of filtration
• Smart Number Decoder – describes the new part number system and how to use it
• Catalog/Cross Reference – full offering of products including interchanges
• Podcast Training – short training videos available at www.wixindustrialfilters.com
Training, warranty information and support materials are available on www.wixindustrialfilters.com and from WIX Filtration District Sales Managers.
