Team WIX® Expands To 20,000 Members In 2011

Local race teams benefit from membership in Team WIX

WIX® Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, has built Team WIX, a sponsorship program designed to support local grassroots racers, into a membership base of more than 20,000 race teams.

“Team WIX has grown exponentially since 2008 from a small group of race teams to an army of WIX supporters today,” said Mike Harvey, brand manager for WIX Filters. “Starting in 2010 with the introduction of the WIX Filters 100 Nights of Grassroots Racing and building even more in 2011 in conjunction with a sponsorship of DIRTCar Racing, WIX Filters has grown Team WIX from a few hundred members to more than 20,000 race teams today.”

The Team WIX racing sponsorship program provides local race teams across America with WIX racing gear, decals, and a 20 percent rebate on WIX racing filters and WIX/NoToil ATV and motorcycle filters. In 2011, all Team WIX race teams are eligible to win one of five Grand Prize Team Sponsorships, including a $500 check and $250 in WIX filters and gear. is full of information about Team WIX and WIX racing filters.
