Susan Thompson, Steve Freestone and Marty Rhodes Bring Product Information and Technical Expertise;
Lee Harris Adds Graphic Design and Technical Writing Experience

In keeping with its continued growth and exceptional service, WIX® Filters, a global manufacturer of filtration products, has transitioned Steve Freestone and Lee Harris into new roles on the global quality team and added responsibilities for Susan Thompson and Marty Rhodes.

“WIX’s legacy is built on technical superiority, outstanding customer service and global reach,” said Greg Dillman, senior vice president, North America operations for Affinia Group Inc. “Led by Edward Covington, this team is dedicated to growing and improving the business in those areas – and looks for ways to innovate what we’re already doing. We’re going to raise the bar even further, and make our processes even more seamless.”

Susan Thompson, product information and technical services manager, is a communications gatekeeper for customers and the sales team. She and her team oversee all product-related materials, including vetting bulletins and instruction sheets – all information goes in and out of WIX through them.

Marty Rhodes, technical service and customer training manager, focuses on warranties, customer training and technical product details that Thompson sends out through her team. Steve Freestone will transition to technical services coordinator. He has spent the past 24 years in manufacturing quality assurance at WIX and reports to Rhodes. Lee Harris is transitioning from technical services coordinator to graphic design and technical writer.

Covington and these four team members bring 154 years of combined quality assurance and technical expertise to this team.

“The Global Quality Team functions with a mission of improving efficiencies at WIX, both operationally and through the company’s product information and training opportunities,” said Edward Covington, vice president of quality assurance for WIX Filters. “The team focuses on blending marketing, product information and technology in an effort to better streamline communications at WIX and through its partners.”
